On Saturday, November 1, 2014, at the "Affairs of the Heart: Understanding Genetic Cardiomyopathy" conference, The Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation, Inc. presented a $15,000 check to Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation to help fund research.
7,500 "All You Need is Love Mission Cards" Dispersed Internationally

The foundation has dispersed over 7,500 "All You Need is Love Mission Cards" internationally. A string of random acts of kindness was initiated by each card dispersed. Mission cards have reached as far as England, Canada, Hawaii, Turkey, Australia and Ireland. Countless acts of kindness have been spread and hearts have been opened. Life changing stories have been shared on the Joseph Middlemiss All You Need Is Love Mission Facebook page.
Kindness Resource Book Baskets
October 2014
8 school kindness presentations have been completed. Our Foundation's Kindness Resource Book Baskets (est. cost $250.00/each) were donated to the schools. These baskets include age appropriate literature focused on kindness. The presentations have ranged from a general introduction of the reciprocity of kindness to lessons in persevrance through life's most difficult times. Audiences have been led through examples of the powerful effects of "choosing kind."
SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED

FOUR children were awarded full year, private Music Scholarships. Lessons are currently being given at the Music Academy of Chelmsford. ($1500 value each).

Heart Week Gifts
October 2014
Students from Tyngsborough Elementary School selected their favorite book title and made Valentines for patients on the cardiac floor at BCH. Books were purchased by the Foundation. 35 gift bags filled with books and valentines were delivered to the patients during Heart Week to lift their spirits and remind them that people CARE!
