Run the 2023 Boston Marathon® for Team Big Heart!
The Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation is proud to be an official charity partner for the 2023 Boston Marathon to be held on Monday, April 17, 2023. We are currently accepting applications for Non-Profit Partner Runners and Qualified Runners. Accepted Non-Profit Partner Runners will receive their number through the John Hancock 2023 Boston Marathon Non-Profit Program to represent Team Big Heart.
FEES UPON ACCEPTANCE TO THE TEAM:
$100 Administrative Fee paid upon acceptance; $375 BAA Registration Fee paid directly to BAA.

The person receiving the entry bib must be the sole person who utilizes the number. It may not be transferred, sold or auctioned to another person.

The runner must abide by all rules and regulations regarding the BAA Boston Marathon.

When selection to Team Big Heart has been finalized, valid credit card information will be collected fom all participating runners. In the event that the runner does not meet the fundraising requirement, The Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation reserves the right to charge the runners credit card.

The runner must agree to wear the Team Big Heart team running shirt while participating in the Marathon.

All Non-Profit Partner runners will receive guaranteed entry into the 127th Boston Marathon through raising a minimum of $10,000.

BYOB ~ Bring your own bib. Runners who have their own bib for the Boston Marathon can also run with Team Big Heart for a fundraising minimum of $3,000. Apply below and select you have your own bib.

Full and personalized 20-week training plan for every level of running with organized group runs throughout the season through CharityTeams.com.

Runners will receive a personal fundraising page and fundraising support.

Organized point to point long runs on the course with aid station support.

Kickoff meeting and pre-race gathering providing COVID guidelines permit.

A positive life changing experience and memorable journey of running the 2023 Boston Marathon with Team Big Heart.
The B.A.A encourages all participants to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to participating in the 127th Boston Marathon. At this time, proof of vaccination will not be required for participation in the 2023 Boston Marathon. However, all participants are expected to follow B.A.A protocols and procedures related to COVID-19 mitigation and public health including, but not limited to, potential proof of negative testing, potential proof of vaccination, and wearing a face mask in designated areas. B.A.A. COVID-19 mitigation efforts will be guided by policies and procedures established by the CDC, state, and local public health officials in the lead up to April's event.
