Kate Middlemiss is the loving mother of two beautiful boys, Joseph and Jack and a beautiful daughter Grace.  She co-founded The Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation following her beloved, six-year old son Joseph's sudden passing from cardiomyopathy.  Although his earthly farewell came far too soon, Joseph was wise beyond his years, lived an incredibly FULL life, and opened the hearts of so many, near and far.  Kate has big goals to use the JMBHF to carry on his legacy of love.Just 33 days before Joseph's passing, Kate welcomed her second child, Jack, into the world.  He, too, suffers from cardiomyopathy.  She has made it her mission to provide the best care for Jack and advocate for his needs, while also working to support other heart families and promote cardiomyopathy awareness and research.  Kate is also passionate about early childhood education and has enriched the lives of many children through her role as a kindergarten teacher for the past 13 years.  Caring for, educating and nurturing children's lives are core values for Kate.

Mary Jane Caron is the proud mother of four amazing children.  Her background includes extensive experience in the areas of healthcare management and special education. She is currently the Elementary Special Education Director at Tyngsborough Elementary School.
